Overview
At the height of a romantic evening between a sushi and a salmon, the fridge door suddenly swings open and a pair of chopsticks descend from above. Taking only your sushi partner. ​

A short 2D platformer where a salmon must navigate through a kitchen landscape, avoiding jealous hostile foods and garnishes along the way preventing your delicious reunion together.

Created the 4 core design pillars for the project.

Established the overall theming and level progression.

Followed the S . Miyamoto principles of 2D level design.

Adhered to the heartbeat method of level difficulty.

Designed and iterated Menu Elements and Player Interactables.

Mechanic Designer

Drove the relation between gameplay mechanics and existing illustrations, assets and objects. (E.g. Bouncy cheese and Slippery Butter.)​

Designed unique, combat interactions and unused enemy movements.

Ensured variable enemy placements and player encounters.​​​​

Meticulously added Soy Sauce collectables in appropriate locations.

Quality Assurance Tester​

​Wrote test scripts ensuring player comprehension, usability, functionality, compatibility with controller support, and performance.
